Loose Parts is an experimental documentary that looks at the gritty cracks of urban city life in a positive and vibrant light. It centres on a corner of Dalston in East London, honouring its diverse inhabitants, food stands and market stalls. Kebab shops and butchers are brightly portrayed, accompanied by laughter and conversation from the local community. Loose Parts is all about liminal spaces: the geographical inbetweens of city life that can easily be overlooked, but actually contribute to a sense of community and belonging.
